Friedel Kloke-Eibl

Friedel Kloke-Eibl took her first ballet lessons when she was five years old and over the course of the years she went on learning and studying with a number of dancing teachers. The encounter with Professor B. Wosien represented a turning point in her life. She became his pupil and was his associate for many years. After her university studies in Cologne, Cambridge and Paris she spent two years in Iceland. She got married in 1965 and has three children (Björn, Nanni and Saskia).
In 1981, Friedel Kloke-Eibl founded the ´DEMIAN - Instituut in beweging´ in the Netherlands which she headed until 1990. She established the foundation ´Stichting Sacred Dance´ under the patronage of B. Wosien. Since 1981, she has trained more than 800 individuals in different countries and now leads the AUSBILDUNGSINSTITUT. In addition to that Friedel Kloke-Eibl was chairperson of the Trade Association ´Meditation des Tanzes - Sacred Dance´ and has published the journal BALANCE for eight years.
For many years, Friedel Kloke-Eibl has fought for peace and justice around the world (e.g. “Tanzen für den Frieden” on World Peace Day) and with the foundation of the non-profit association ´Stiching Favela-Kinder Rio´, she has committed herself to support the poorest of the poor.
Friedel Kloke-Eibl teaches worldwide. So far she has published 16 CDs with her own dances and choreographies and 4 CDs with folk dances, 5 video films/DVDs and the book "My dance - a song of silence".
